How To Submit Your Story

The purpose of sharing your stories with others on this podcast, is so that we can create a judgement-free sense of community and belonging where we can learn from each other’s experiences and gain a deeper understanding of the human condition.

If you would like to submit one of your own stories you must adhere to the following guidelines to be considered for inclusion in the podcast:

  • Your story must be a story that is about your own experiences, memories, events, or life lessons.
  • Your story should not be more that 1,500 words or equal to two written pages.
  • It doesn’t matter if your story has spelling errors or is not gramatically correct but we will do some light editing to make your story easier to read on the podcast.
  • Your story may NOT be self-promotional or include marketing links or links to other web pages. If you have a book, memoir or something that you feel would benefit our listeners, contact us about becoming a guest on the podcast.
  • Your story must be respectful to diverse populations. These are some examples of stories that will NOT be accepted: Adult content, commercials, profanity, and anything biased.
  • The Story Harvesters reserves the right to reject or story submission for any reason.

The Story Harvesters does NOT pay for stories and submitting your story does not guarentee that it will be used in the podcast. Personal stories that are approved for inclusion in the podcast will be used without notice.  Please check the podcast periodically to see if your story has been included.  Due to the high volume of stories this podcast receives, messages following up on the status of a story submission will not be responded to.
